Should always be spent very chilled, a small shopping trip for some delectable treats, coming home for cups of tea and cake on pretty cake stands where we all huddle around cackling like the witches of eastwick drinking out of floral cups and the prettiest plates with doilies on covered in crumbs & jam in the aftermath of devouring such esquisite culinary skills lovingly prepared homemade in our kitchen. My sunday has been blissfully quaint and quintessentially english.

The water can't drown me, I'm done With my dying...
All that I have is a river
The river is always my home
Lord, take me away
For I just cannot stay
Or I’ll sink in my skin and my bones
The river is always my home
Lord, take me away
For I just cannot stay
Or I’ll sink in my skin and my bones
Johnny Flynn & Laura Marling - The Water
I went to the beach on New Years Day, to throw all my dreams and wishes into the sea and when sedna is enraged the waves will throw up like sea foam into the sky and maybe just maybe they will come true. It was cold that day, and the winter winds howled around my face and tickled my hair while I ran around desperatley looking for delicate shells. Then before we left we threw cold bread onto the floor as we felt the seagulls deserved a feast on the first day of this new and bight new year, here are some pictures I managed to catch.

I woke up so very early this morning while everyone else was still sleeping soundly, I was on my way to london still in my pajamas in the toasty car. After spending a wonderful morning at grans I headed off for a wonderful shopping trip in london, where I got some pretty (if slightly over the top) little gems =DI had such a lovely day with my family, and cannot wait for new year!

I feel like a sleepy fawn today, Christmas was so wonderful and magical and today I took the pennies santa had given me and went down to the valley for some precious things like owl earings, floral duvets, bird towels and a full kit of essential oils to start off my small independent business. I will succeed, for so long there has been a ghost fogging up my thoughts and judgements, but now its nothing more than an apparition, slowly ebbing further and further away and I feel like me again. There is alot more that I could say, but I want to drink the rest of my tea and then take some pictures, so for now speak soon xoxo
